Apr 05 2008 - An end of an era... Been a while, and sadly I have some sad news to present you all. Metal Station has been a great resource for metal biographies and lyrics since 1999, and today I have to announce that after all that time, Metal Station will be put to rest at the end of the year. With all the things I now have to do with work and such I find myself having little or no time keeping this up and its not fair to all of you who sit there waiting for new content. The idea of having this under new management has come into attention, and if anyone is interested just contact me and we can make arrangements to transfer ownership of the domain and such. the site will still be here for now but after October, it will no longer be here. Nov 25 2007 - news page re-shaped today I have skimmed the news page. all news listed will be from RSS feeds from metal news sites like road runner records, blabbermouth and others. if you wish to see a certain feed on the site, let me know and I'll add it. Oct 09 2007 - update time been a long time and I thought I should update about things. first I was moved to a new server and when i re-uploaded everything, it didnt add everything within the cd cover art folder, but i fixed that. if you notice any other odd bug, please let me know. as about band pages & lyrics, updates on them are slow coming, I have been very busy sadly but rest assure things will come when I can add things. I also plan to fix a few other items that I know are not working 100% if you are a band or representative of a band and want that band added here, just contact me and I'll add them to the site. There may also be a re-construction of the site to skim it down to make it easier to update and also remove things that don't get much use anyway(like the news page though the feed portion of it will still remain there) I will let you all know about these changes and more later on as I myself get a more idea on them. |
